About Dr. Wagner

Dr. Scott C. Wagner is a board-certified, active duty Orthopaedic Spine Surgeon at the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, MD.

Dr. Wagner graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a Bachelor’s Degree in both Biological Sciences and German language. He attended medical school at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio. He completed residency training and research fellowship in Orthopaedic Surgery at the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center (WRNMMC) in Bethesda, Maryland. He completed subspecialty fellowship training in Spine Surgery at the Rothman Institute at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Dr. Wagner is currently stationed at WRNMMC. He is an Assistant Professor of Surgery at the Uniformed Services University. He also serves as the Spine Service Chief, as well as the Associate Program Director for Orthopaedics Research, and Associate Program Director for the Transitional Internship program.
